// template for new/empty pages ((header)) title:DHCP author:@europlus@eusoplus.zone ((content)) Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol is a protocol by which devices on a network can request configuration to connect to the network, before they're configured to connect to the network! It’s an autodiscovery protocol whereby a machine set to request DHCP information can find any DHCP server/s on the network, and configure itself for broader TCP/IP connectivity. It has been extended for other protocol configuration as well, but for us, we’re primarily interested in TCP/IP.
